It's outraging that tax money pays a salary of a wildlife service agent who is suppose to help these animals, instead he is torturing them. Words cannot express the outrage I feel. Millions of $s go to waste each year, for this!? No wonder this country is in so much debt!!!! America wake up!!! Time for a change & repentance. In the end we need to be held accountable for the things we don't do for in order to stop this inhumanity. GOD is watching. Hurricane Sandy was just a warning... Just Sayin'....

Out of context??? What possible context could make it right to sic 2 free dogs on a trapped animal? Traps are cruel enough, but at least shoot the trapped animal as soon as possible, don't torture them. If you do not understand this, Olson, then I suggest some psychiatric care for you. Quit whining about these photos affecting your job. There is simply NO excuse for these acts of cruelty.

Olson, if someone trapped your dogs, allowed other animals to rip it to shreds while your dogs suffered those people could be charged with animal abuse and spend time in jail. You are an animal abuser, you do not care that you inflict pain and suffering on other living beings. I would feel safer surrounded by a pack of Coyotes than I would any where near you.
As for the person saying they only hunt at night, that is plain BS, I am a bird and wildlife photographer and I photograph Coyotes all the time during the day catching and eating their main prey, which is voles. It appears that you don't know much about Coyotes either.
Back to you Olson, you need help, mental health help. If this is affecting your job you have no one but yourself to blame. You should be fired. Period.

I've had cats get eaten by coyotes, but I wouldn't dream of trapping or torturing them! They have a right to live and survive. There is no excuse for this. Sadistic. What is more awful is that this happens all over the country daily. Trapping should be outlawed!

I agree. He should have locked up his cats to prevent them from getting killed. He just kinda started freaking out b/c the coyotes kept coming closer and closer and twice he woke up with snakes in his house, once in his bed. That's why he got the cats. although I am an animal lover, I would have freaked out too, under the circumstances. I like snakes, but from a distance! Certainly not in my bed:(

I think it's funny that he says we are taking it out of context because the pictures isn't a sequence of one event. IT'S WORSE THAT IT'S A SEQUENCE OF MANY EVENTS. So you mean to tell me Mr. Olsen that these pictures are not the product of one day's hunting but many different days hunting? You have let your dogs go after trapped cayotes over an over again and you are okay with that? "WE" are making your life harder? You really should look for employment elsewhere. We want people we trust to ensure animals don't suffer. Not the likes of you.

Remember-this is an agency within the USDA (Livestock Industry). The Government exterminated wolves, grizzlies, and other native animals to protect land use for the Ranchers that reintroduced foreign cattle to the US....Don't think they wouldn't do it again. These people are enemies of biodiversity and wildlife. These FED employees are allowed to kill coyotes and wolves with the use of hounds and they have been doing it for decades as the supervisors look the other way. They allow these idiots to use their cultural influence to dictate wildlife policy instead of having a protocol in place to protect native animals from abuse..... These are our tax dollars at work- so a bunch of inbred degenerates can collect a paycheck with their culture of killing.....
