David Nusair is not only a curmudgeon who absolutely hates 90% of the films he reviews, but is an exceedingly (or as he would say, "egregiously") lazy craftsman. He overuses certain expressions he cannot live without, and is too incompetent to replace or just get rid of altogether, as they serve no purpose at all. Expressions such as: egregiously, infuses the proceedings, there's little doubt, interminable, admittedly, eye-rolling, countless, etc. etc. I challenge anyone to find a single review by Mr. Nusair that does not feature several of these very expressions... and his reviews are short! I will never understand why he refuses to improve his writing, to widen his use of the English language, let alone the scope of his criticism.

I don't usually read film reviews, but I'll read Molly's due to her delicious snippets like "The priest has a weird haircut that I theorize speaks to a growing disconnect between what the clergy does and the modern world—but I might be over-thinking the hair." Hilarious! Well-written. etc. Also, what the hell is going on with the Wilma? I thought they had new owners! Maybe put some money into a new film-player-thingy, yo!

The title is easy to roll your eyes at: Synchronicity to one person is just coincidence to another. But this project isn't just a therapeutic rabbit-hole. Turk and crew received a grant from the Boston Performing Arts Council to create the piece in a Boston warehouse and perform it around the city. So far, the production has garnered praise by critics in both the Boston Globe and the Boston Phoenix.

This movie sounds complex and thus confusing, however, Ms Laich did an excellent job of talking it out and her enthusiasm for this film really came through. Excellent movie review. Fun and informative. Very well-written.
