Re: “Missoula Senior Center

Starlighters Swing Band St Patrick's Day Night at the Senior Citizens Center was a Remember when and an event I won't forget. Remembering when dance bands and music in the 50s and 60s were dancable and solid good times. Kids at this event were jitter-bugging like I used to do ( I am 70+ now) and it was good to see the youth keeping the dance alive and well in Down town Missoula. Kudos to all who made it happen!!

SNOW REPORT FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 17TH:
Observations from Como Trails Club.

"Well its almost gone! All access to upper roads is by going up Wolf track trail. You can drive right to the base of it now, good snow all the way up yesterday. Upper road and the first part of middle are still very skiable.

550 road and 550A road have completely melted out, nothing left of 550A and long patches of gravel on 550.

I plan on dragging Upper road, Shannon and Wolf Track Sunday morning [today] for one more skate party! then the last of the equipment comes down and we are done for the year!"

Re: “Mount Haggin

SNOW REPORT FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 17TH:
Observations of Mile High Nordic Ski Club.

"Last Sunday, March 10th, track was well-defined and firm, with temperatures in low 40's and transitional fresh snow with ice/corn snow on parts of the track. The track is turning hard and corny, so use caution on the downhills & turns as it is fast. We suspect skiing should be good for a few more weeks, but did note that our snowfall is down compared to years' past." Trails last groomed on March 5th.
