Re: “Lolo Hot Springs Resort

Stopped at Lolo Hot Springs on the way home to Missoula from Boise, Idaho. It was definitely a nice break from the road. The inside pool wasn't crowded at all and the water temperature was 104 degrees. The outside pool was significantly colder, especially since it was only about 45 degrees outside. Only took a dip in it before going back inside. The water could be cleaner, but I don't think there's much of a solution to that, and it wasn't a deal-breaker. All in all, I'm glad we stopped!

Re: “Chief Joseph Pass

SNOW REPORT FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 31ST:
Temperatures are reaching the point where it is no longer possible to groom with any consistency. Trails were smoothed for the last time on Friday, March 29th. Because daytime temperatures rise so quickly, it is tracks were not set.

Remember that crust skiing will be good for quite some time yet, especially in the mornings. There is still plenty of snow at the Chief Joseph Trail System, snow which is unlikely to melt anytime soon.

Today's forecast is mostly sunny with a high of 56 degrees and light winds.

Re: “Lake Como

SNOW REPORT FOR SUNDAY, MARCH 31ST:
Observations according to Como Trails Club.

"[Groomers] rolled Wolf Track, Shannon Gulch, Uf-Da, middle road and Upper road last night. Middle road is good everywhere except the south facing hillside going down into the Waddell drainage, (before "Chute" trail). You will have to take off your skis for several bare spots. Just a couple of thin spots past that, watch for random rocks. Upper road is in steller condition, worth skiing all day up there! Uf-Da is best skied uphill, not recomended to go down it. Wolf Track and Shannon gulch are well covered with just a couple of rough spots at the ditch and 550rd intersection. Parking is at the wide spot on 550A just before the base of Wolf Track.

"This will probably be the last of the good skiing for the season, warmer temps and rain predicted later this week."
