hands down best bakery in town. they have the best cookies (especially the hand squeezed lemon cookies and the espresso chocolate chip cookies), and lemon bars are to die for! hand squeezed lemon is the trick! also the cupcakes are huge and a few varieties every day! their seasonal stollen is to die for!!

Had an ham and olive tapenade($6) , cheese quiche and coffee, Great service, great value and good coffee. The Staff was excellent.

So anyway, thinking that MIssoula is lacking a really good bakery, I was even thinking (being a baker myself) that maybe I could fill the bill. So when I stopped by the Black Cat Bakery, I was really just checking the place out. BOY WAS I SURPRISED. NO WAY COULD I COME EVEN CLOSE TO THE DELECTABLE, LIGHT, AND DELICIOUS TREATS THAT PRESENTED THEMSELVES. Just saying.............

Excellent bake shop! I was up visiting over the holidays and received a treat from your shop. The Yule Log was fantastic! Can't wait to come back up and try some of your other tasty treats! Thank you for being in Missoula, only wish you were in Las Vegas also.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING!!! The tarts, the cakes, cookies, the breads, the rolls, mmmm' everything is so good! The fruit tarts are the best I have ever had! I don't care for lemon cookies but their's are fantastic!!! Oh yes, and the folks who run the place are so nice and helpful! Got to have the Stolen as it is the best! Please ship me the Stolen to CA. Five Stars, oh no, wait a minute, 10 STARS!!!

Brilliant place. Pastries, coffee and staff fantastic. I live in Vienna Austria and coffee culture here is well known, but coffee at Le Petit Outre tastes as good as anything you can get in Europe.

Excellent baked goods, delicious soups and sandwiches, great coffee and friendly service!!! The prices are outrageously low for what you get! It is a great place to hang out and easy to get in for take out.

The only specialty bagel place in Missoula, Bagels on Broadway does not disappoint. Their bagels are great. In addition to their regular bagels, they have seasonal flavors like rye and pumpernickel. They also have a espresso machine, which is totally great. Their bagel sandwiches are great too. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, but there are couches and lots of places to sit. Recommended for a lone wolf or a pack.

By far the very best ice-cream in town! Don't spend your dollars at chain stores when you can support the local economy in the sweetest way possible!
