In "Safe at home," your work could have included Herbie Plews, Helena, and Billy Elbert, Miles City and Anaconda, both of whom made it to the majors. I think Plews played infield for the Senators and Elbert pitched for the Red Sox.

Editor's note: Thanks for reading. You're right that Plews and Elbert were born in Montana, but according to BaseballReference.com, both are still alive. Also, it doesn't look like Elbert ever actually reached the majors.
