Residents of the Rattlesnake, Seeley Lake and the rest of House District 92, I am pleased to write and urge your support of Bryce Bennett for state representative.
Bryce has deep roots in both Montana, coming from a family with generations of Montana history, and Missoula, as a graduate of Big Sky High School and the University of Montana. Furthermore, Bryce has worked at the legislature as staff for the Fish, Wildlife and Parks Committee; he has learned about the hurly-burly of a legislative session the only way someone can: by being there. Bryce will hit the ground running and I am confident he will be an especially effective freshman legislator. Finally, Bryce has been a community organizer for more than a decade. He knows what it is to work with people to ensure government responds to their needs and he’ll take that spirit of service with him to the legislature.
Beyond Bryce’s personal qualifications, I am proud to support Bryce as the Democratic nominee. The last several state legislatures have been narrowly divided. Good bills died on tie votes in the last session because of party-line splits, and in 2007, Republicans selected a divisive Speaker of the House, resulting in disorderly conduct that could have been avoided. Of all the votes the representative of House District 92 will cast during the legislative session, the vote for Speaker of the House may be the most critical. My vote for Bryce is a vote of confidence for the Democratic caucus and Democrats’ proven track record of fiscal responsibility and good governance of the state of Montana.
Thanks for casting your vote this November 2nd.

I am an Independent by nature and vote for individuals not political parties. I knew and worked with Don Harbaugh when he was Principal at Hellgate High School. Don was a very reasonable person, always willing to hear you out, get all the facts and make a well considered decision. He fought hard for the needs of the school district, the teachers and students.
My conversations with Don more recently at neighborhood events show he is the same humble, considerate and moderate person willing to listen and work with legislators in both parties for a common good.
I met Bryce Bennett two times when he was walking the neighborhoods. While a nice very young fellow, it is obvious that Bennett lacks a lot of knowledge and real world experience. He was quick to tell me what he thought I wanted to hear, even when it contradicted statements on his web site or his own political flyer he handed me. He talked more about himself and his political agenda than about what I thought was important. While very polite, he thought he knew all the answers and didn’t take suggestions well. While talking to him, I remembered an old saying about being cautious of someone “who doesn’t know what he doesn’t know”.
Don Harbaugh has my vote this fall. Don is prepared to be an excellent legislator who will reach across party lines and listen to all voters regardless of their party affiliations. Bryce Bennett will have to wait until he gains more knowledge and wisdom to earn the privilege of being a legislator.
I am a liberal democrat but I think local politics is more about the person than the party. I am sure Bryce is a nice person but he has never had a job, never paid property taxes and never really done anything. I don't think he has the experience to represent me and just voting the democratic party line doesn't work for me. I want someone who makes good decisions based on

I want someone who makes good decisions based on their wisdom and experience and I think Harbaugh is more likely to do that.
