The Barkus boat crash report

Montana's buzzing today with news that a state judge in Flathead County has released a redacted version of the investigative report in former state Sen. Greg Barkus' 2009 boat crash on Flathead Lake.

Several people were injured in the incident including Rep. Denny Rehberg, whose foot was nearly shorn off, and then-Rehberg staffer Dustin Frost, who the report says still suffers injuries related head trauma suffered in the crash. The report doesn't offer much in the way of new information; most of the juicy details came to light during Barkus' trial. But it's a damn good read all the same.
