Ah, the International Wildlife Film Festival. It's the only place where you see the world's fattest parrot, a dude who pretends to be a turkey, and the latest masterpiece from the incomparable David Attenborough. And to think, those are just a few of the award-winning offerings during this week's 35th annual IWFF.

The video above teases "Primeval New Zealand," a television show that won IWFF's Best Scientific Content, Best Graphics/Animation, and Best Program Under $250K categories. Watch it and you'll see the beer-bellied bird. The show also screens at IWFF on Friday at 12:30 and Saturday at 10 a.m.
The video below is a clip from "My Life as a Turkey." It's not often that you get to watch a grown man play the role of mother to a newly hatched turkey chick. Well, at least it's not often for me. But that's what you see when writer/naturalist Joe Hutto raises wild turkeys on his own. This show won IWFF's Best Program $250-$500K, Best Sound Mix and Best Editing categories. It screens Thursday at 12:30.
