Local celiacs can raise a celebratory pint of the local brewery's "gluten-reduced" Seeley Axe after the beer won a bronze medal at last weekend's 30th annual Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado.

Kettlehouse, which placed in the Gluten-Free category, was one of three Montana breweries to take home honors at the event. Carter's Brewing in Billings earned silver in the American-Style Black Ale category for its Blackened CDA, and Montana Brewing Company, also out of Billings, grabbed silver in the Baltic-Style Porter category for its White Eagle Baltic Porter.

This year's festival attracted 3,930 competitive entries from 526 breweries.

Seeley Axe is currently on tap at the Kettlehouse's Myrtle Street location.
