Perhaps the best way to gauge the ridiculousness of UM's comeback victory—and Anthony Johnson's historic performance—is by reading the real-time comments on the fantastic eGriz.com thread during the game. It's immediate distaste followed by abject frustration followed by a reference to "The Waltons" followed by cautious optimism followed by a glimmer of hope followed by the joy of victory. All that in two hours.
For those who flipped away with the Griz trailing by 20 at the half (and looking truly awful), the team chipped away over the final 20 minutes led by Johnson's tournament-record 42 points, which included the winning bucket. Griz win 66-65.
