I know this girl and while you may say what you like about her, she is honestly one of the sweetest, most down to earth people I know. Yes, it's a sexy pose, but you seem to forget that there is an actual person behind that photo. Don't be so quick to judge.

Also, I thought Missoula was a liberal place. Funny how when other people do things differently than they would personally it is suddenly not ok. Perhaps we should be more comfortable with the decisions of others. Life is about personal choice. Let others live their lives and get over it.

I think it is an AMAZING accomplishment for Brittney to have been featured in the Hooters Calendar. Not only is the process very competative, but something like this can open up so many doors for someone from Missoula. Brittney is a very beautiful woman WHO I might add is not showing anything you wouldn't see on the beach or someone floating down the river. The decisions that Brittney or any other woman out there makes is her decision and hers alone, it has nothing to do with any other rude, ignorant people out there who judge the woman in these magazines. Until you get to know someone like Brittney and see what a beautiful, smart and careing person she is DO NOT judge someone for making something of themselves. I have visited many different Hooters around the country and while I don't know Brittany personally most of the Hooters girls that I know are very sweet girls who are not full of themselves. I consistently get superb service when I eat at Hooters so much so that I marvel when I eat at other restaurants and how poorly they compare to the girls at Hooters. If you have a negative attitude about Hooters girls it's because you really don't know what you are talking about.

I commented before the opening of Hooters in regards to all the lonely idiots out there and their wives or husbands who were putting Hooters down. Well, here it is again. Brittany is a wonderful woman. She works hard for what she has. I personally know her, (admittedly not well, but none the less) and she is a wonderful woman. How is it that it's ok for a church or school group to offer up their 11 to 18 year olds to go do a bikini car wash during the summer, but it's wrong for a woman of Hooters to show off her body in an internationally distributed calendar? You people need to look to the inside to judge. If you're so damn perfect, why are you preaching to others?

Elkamino, if you read the article it said there were over 20,000 applicants, of course they arent going to chose women they will have to photoshop, they want natural beauties, like Brittney. Also, if you go to any Hooters, especially the one in Missoula, you will see all the girls are different shapes, sizes, personalities, skin tones etc. There is no generic Hooters Girl, thats why making the calander is such a big deal, because it means you have something special and unique. She is an extremely gorgeous native american woman who represents REAL Montana beauty.

amber, you're right, Brittney's beautiful. but that photo- like all glam photos- was photoshopped. even the most beautiful models have blems considered unsightly by calendar makers, who thus polish them out. but that's okay, because we're discussing a hooters calender here. even the models are okay (check her contract) with hair being digitally highlighted (or removed), or at the very least in this case skin glistened into impossibly flawless tanned silk. look more closely and you'll see her face, too, is digitally smooved, but not because she's "emaciated" (christ, rottenlemon) or unattractive in any way but because she's striking seductive in a hooters calendar and when you do that you get polished.

don't believe me? just ask brittney- i'd wager a basket of old post wings that allowing the photos to be altered is clearly worded in her contract. (the waitstaff's no less diverse -or sweltering, either...)

but amber, while i do have a deep appreciation for the breast i'm not a hooters guy, and my original point was only that i was surprised to see a set of midsized hooters in a hooters calendar, that's all. you know, like you don't see many mid sized whitetail bucks in "antlers" magazine, only huge racks with wide spreads.

but whatever, this badass chick's getting paid top $ in a recession more or less just for being a fine specimen. i totally support that.

elkamino, I have done my fair share of modeling as well and I KNOW they photoshop skin flaws and misplaced strands of hair- thats a given. But you were commenting on how she looks untouched, and I was agreeing saying that they wouldnt pick someone they would need to sit at a computer and take a ton of time altering her face/body. As for your elk/hooters comparison, what makes an elk a "prize" is it's size and rack, however this is not the case for women and I am very disappointed at your thinking that is the case. Just because someone works/poses for Hooters doesn't mean they are well endowed in the chest area, nor should they have to be to be presented in Hoots mechandise... like I said, there is no generic Hooters Girl.

We must remember this -- That Missoula County High School grad Regan Wilson was Playmate of the month back in '67! Now THAT was a proud moment for us! She is on the Coast and still thriving.
