R.C. Hooker, who co-authored the Indy's current feature on natural burial, died last night in his Somers home. He was 64.
Hooker was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer over the summer and given six months to live. He quickly researched his funeral options before settling on the relatively new trend of returning naturally to the earth in an environmentally friendly cemetery. He'll be buried tonight at 5 p.m. at Natural Cemeteries.

In the words of Salvador Dali (1904-1989) "I shall be so brief that I have already finished." Rest In Peace Uncle......... xoxoxo
RC was my beloved brother and I shall miss him tremendously! He introduced me to Montana over 10 years ago and it has been my vacation spot ever since. The breathtaking mountains and the "going to the sun" are where I truly believe God spends his vacation also. Thanks to all who were there for him during his illness!!! Peggy
